Jessica celebrated five Grade 9s, and two Grade 8s among her superb results.

She said: “I am happy with it all. I think I am most happy with my Further Maths result as I got a Grade 5 and I am happy I passed.

“I thought I had messed up my French written exam so to get a 9 is amazing.

“I want to go to Newman College to study English, Philosophy and Art. I want to be a writer or something with Art.”

Wictoria was happy with her results.

“I thought I would get a 6 in English Literature and I got a 9. I was totally surprised by that. I achieved two Grade 9s, a Grade 8, a Grade 7 and four Grade 6s – I was one mark off a 9 in Geography too! I want to go to Newman College to study Psychology, Sociology and Maths.”

Freya achieved a Grade 9 in French and four Grade 8s among her impressive results.

“I am happy with my French, I want to study that at A-Level along with Biology and Chemistry at Newman College. I worked really hard. I want to do something with Medicine in the future.”
