During PHSEE day, Wasted Lives UK talked to pupils about its road safety initiative targeting young drivers and their passengers.

Delivered in conjunction with the fire service, the session challenges beliefs resulting in safer attitudes towards risk taking behaviours on the roads.

Pupils got to inspect a car recovered from an accident and hear case studies of those affected by road traffic collisions.

The sessions cover speed, seatbelts, mobile phones, drink and drug driving. The sessions also offered pupils an opportunity for discussion and reflection. Some pupils found this quite tough-going however felt it was a very valuable session.
