Whilst many of you will be tuning in to watch I'm a Celebrity on Sunday night, please look out for one of its stars in particular - former Priory pupil, Jordan North.

The BBC Radio 1 DJ left Priory in 2006 although he didn't forget his roots and returned in 2018 to present at the Year 11 leaver's celebration assembly. Jordan was happy to see one of his favourite teachers, Assistant Head, Mrs Crank (pictured below).

The pandemic means the show won't be in the Australian jungle as usual - this year's series has been relocated to the ruined Gwrych Castle in Abergele.  The campmates will be a far cry from the heat too, swapping beachwear for thermals before they take on trials in chilly, wet North Wales.

Jordan, known for his Northern charm, hosts Radio 1's lunchtime show from Fridays to Sundays.  His obsession with radio began from an early age and drew him towards community radio station Preston FM before heading on to Rock FM and Capital FM.  In 2018, Hello magazine cited Jordan as 'one to watch'.

If there was ever a good reason to do the programme this year, Jordan says, “It’ll be nice just to get out’t house for a couple of weeks!”

Whether he wins or not, Jordan's already our king of the castle!
