Mrs Cowell proved that food is fun when she invited Year 7 pupils to join her for the Burn's Night-themed Cookery Club on Thursday.

Phoebe, Seth, Junior, Aaron and Wictoria really got into the spirit of the after-school event as they made traditional Scottish cuisine in commemoration of the famous Celtic poet.

Potato cakes and Cranachan -- without the whiskey! - were on the menu although we're not sure how much of it actually made it home!

NEXT EVENT:

The next event is on Weds, 9 February for Year 8 pupils where we’ll be making pizza in recognition of National Pizza Day.  It’s free but there are limited places which will be given to the first 12 pupils who contact Mrs Cowell via Teams Chat.  If you've got a slot, please let her know any allergies or dietary requirements in advance, and make sure you have organised your safe travel home.
