Year 8 South Ribble Football tournament winners

Priory's Year 8 girls team took part in a South Ribble football tournament on Thursday night at Balshaw's High School.

"Eight teams competed and from start to finish our girls did Priory proud", said PE teacher, Miss Beesley.

Fantastic goals from Mia C and Caitlyn P, teamed up with great attacking play from Molly S, secured a winning streak from game number one. Game after game Priory's defence and midfield were strong, and a clean sheet from goalkeeper Remi S and her defence ensured no goals where conceded. 

Miss Beesley added, "Each player played with guts and determination which enabled the girls to win six games and draw one, making them overall winners. Well Done girls!"
