It was full STEM ahead for Year 9 girls

Year 9 girls were invited to take part in a STEM careers event held just before the half term break.  

The focus of the event was to inform girls about the opportunities available in engineering, construction and manufacturing.  The group also spent time focusing on what education pathways are available for them when they leave Priory and spent time researching possible apprenticeship opportunities.  

Mrs Massey, who organised the workshop said, "The girls tackled the activities in a really mature way, asking great questions.  Some were unaware of the different routes available post 16.  It was wonderful to hear the girls talk about their aspirations and start to make plans for their future."
