The PE Department is finally in a position to announce the school's Key Stage 3 Cross Country results.  In a change to the usual mud-filled trip through the woods, this year pupils completed four laps around the field for the 2K course.

A fantastic effort was displayed by pupils from all three age groups. Pupils who came within the top six of their year group will have the opportunity to represent Priory in the annual South Ribble Cross Country Championships taking place in November at Hutton Grammar School. Information will be given to these pupils after the half term break.

The House with the least number of points were the winners. Ribble had a close call in first place, with Hodder in Second, Calder in Third and Douglas pulling up the rear despite an impressive result from the girls.

This year's top performing pupils, with the best times, for girls and boys were...

Emma N (Year 8) - 9.25 mins (Calder)

Josh K (Year 9) - 7.35 mins (Douglas)
