Year 11 girls impressive  South Ribble tournament win

On Monday, 4 November the Year 11 girls' team played in the South Ribble 7-a-side football tournament at Leyland St Mary's. 

PE teacher, Mrs Bullock, said, "The girls got off to a slow start drawing the first two matches 0-0 before being beaten by Balshaws 1-0.  Amazingly, they came back to win their following four matches where they played some outstanding football."

'Player of the Tournament' was Mia C, however everyone deserved a mention due to their excellent team effort and determination in every game. 

The girls came join first on points but overall second on goal difference.
