VE Day Remembered at Priory

On Thursday, 8 May we joined the rest of the nation in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.   

During their Learning for Life lesson, pupils watched a BBC Bitesize video where Norma, only 11 years on VE Day, speaks about the day itself, rationing, food and cooking more generally, and the ‘Blitz spirit’.  

Mr Farron topped off his display in the Rose Garden with a Union Jack surrounded by vibrant red ceramic poppies whilst English teacher, Mrs Brindle, introduced Jim to everyone entering or passing by EN5.
