Reaching New Heights: House Rewards Climbing Wall Experience

Pupils from Douglas House – this year’s House winners – were treated to a thrilling climbing wall experience as a reward for their outstanding contribution through a series of competitions, challenges and other House events, in addition to demonstrating good behaviour and attitude to learning throughout the year.

The mobile climbing wall was set up in the school yard, offering a fun and challenging activity for pupils to enjoy with their peers. With some extra spaces available, the opportunity was also extended to pupils from other Houses who have made a positive impact across the school.

Organiser and Calder House Leader, Mrs Massey, said ”The pupils’ behaviour and effort was excellent. It was great to see pupils trying something new and showing great resiliance to beat the wall, trying different routes. The service provider commented on the great behaviour, politeness and enthusiasm of Priory pupils”.

It was a fantastic way to celebrate the team contribution and to end the year on a high – quite literally!
