REPORT BY MISS BEESLEY, PE TEACHER

On Thursday, 30 April our Priory dancers took part in the first South Ribble Street Dance Competition held at Wellfield Academy.

The girls had to learn a set routine from a beginner, intermediate and advanced category and perform this in front of the two judges. After weeks of practices, our girls were ready to dance.  Year 7's Alba and Chloe were up first for the beginner routine to Tao Cruz's Dynamite song, followed by Imogen and Scarlett competing for the Year 8's.

All put in a fantastic level off effort and were successful in their categories, with Alba placing 3rd, Chloe 2nd, Scarlett 2nd and Imogen 1st.

Imogen, Scarlett and Chloe all entered the intermediate category to a throwback song from Usher 'Yeah.' Unfortunately, the girls weren't successful in call backs, but performed brilliantly none the less.

Well done to all four girls, you did an amazing job and your efforts have been rewarded.
