On Monday, 18 May our Year 7 girls played at Leyland St Mary’s in a 7‑A‑Side football tournament.
The squad put in a strong, hard‑working performance over six rounds, displaying good teamwork, determination, and some really sharp moments of play.
Across the tournament, the team played six matches, securing four wins and two losses. They scored a total of ten goals whilst only conceding three, showing strong defensive organisation alongside moments of excellent attacking play.
A mention must go to captain, Belle, with her outstanding work rate and encouragement kept the team focused and motivated. Overall, it was a very positive afternoon with consistent improvement and a confident finish.
The team secured third place overall, disappointingly missing out on second by just two goals.
