Inter House Cross Country
5 October 2023
The PE & Sport Department commandeered last week for pupils' annual sprint through the Priory woods for the school's Cross Country event.
Despite the heavy rain the week before, surprisingly it held off on the whole although many pupils still came off worse for the mud! Pupils had to complete two laps of the 900m route in the fastest time possible and the House with the least number of points were the winners. Calder had a close call in first place, with Douglas in Second, and Ribble and Hodder pulling up the rear.
Some pupils were just too quick and had dashed off after completing the course however, here are some of the top finishers that PE teacher, Miss Beesley, managed to catch!
